"As The World Rots Away" (2016) is the debut album of Blackwood, a solo project by Italian musician and producer Eraldo Bernocchi.
The album is described as a dark, claustrophobic sonic exploration that blends several extreme and experimental genres:
It is a heavy fusion of Doom Metal, Drone, Blackened Sludge, and deep Dub. It features incredibly slow tempos, massive guitar riffs, and abyssal reverbs.
