Macelleria Mobile di Mezzanotte (often abbreviated as MMM) is an Italian dark jazz and post-industrial collective from Rome, active since 2001. The band's name is inspired by the Italian title of Clive Barker's short story "The Midnight Meat Train"
Their sound is a cinematic blend of Dark Jazz, Doom Ambient, Drone, and Post-Industrial. They are widely considered the most prominent dark jazz act in Italy, often compared to legendary groups like Bohren & der Club of Gore and The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble.
The record explores "the darkest side of the metropolis," portraying smoky bars, urban decay, and clandestine sins. It is described as a "black work" that balances love and death within an industrial-noir landscape.
The album includes a contribution from Fabrizio "Malfeitor Fabban" Giannese (from the band Aborym), who provides cold, haunting vocals on the track "Neon Lights Say You Will Die Tonight".
